L2 – What is the internet made of?

In Year 4 today we talked about what the internet is made of. We began by exploring the learning from last lesson and identified the parts of a network that allow it to connect to other networks and form the internet. We then looked at how these connections are made and the devices (routers) that allow us to do this. We discussed how routers connect to one another and found ‘routes’ through our own maps of the internet, before designing our own questions for others to try.
