Today in Computing we have been exploring networks and the internet. Building on our knowledge from Year 3, we modelled how messages are passed around networks using switches. We then looked at how some networks can be connected to others in order to share information by passing messages around the classroom ourselves! We talked about how the internet works in a similar way to this. Finally we discussed the importance of network security and how to keep our information safe.
