Today we looked at how images can be edited after they are taken – this is called retouching. We explored some of the tools used for this purpose and applied them to some pictures of fruit that looked less than their best! By using a combination of the clone tool and the recolour feature we were able to make our fruit look more appealing using the software. We discussed whether this was a good use of computers and whether or not this was fair to the people who saw our images. We talked about how these tools can be used to change people too, and how firms might use this to profit.
